Contains an 8″ traditional rope tuned Djembe and a “Getting Started On The Djembe” DVD. Hand-crafted from a single piece of sun-dried Mango wood, the drum is 10-1/4″ tall with an 8″ diameter hand-picked quality goat skin head, 5mm extra strong non-stretch rope and a natural varnish finish. The DVD will get beginners up and running quickly while providing accurate information about traditions and techniques. Contains a brief historical overview, an introduction to use of the instrument, basic sound production techniques, and a complete series of traditional and contemporary rhythms.
