01 Carmine Red – Stockmar Wax Crayon Sticks

This beeswax crayon stick is a vivid crimson color. A deep, fulfilling red. The mature cheeks of a cloth doll. The red toped roof of a toadstool house.

Carmine Red, the first color on a list of STOCKMARs color selection, according to Goethes color wheel. It is also in all of our pre-packaged sets, with the exception of the to supplementary sets. It is a standard. A must have.

Stick crayons are meant for younger children. Perfect for archetypical drawings in the earliest artistic years (preschool and kindergarten) and learning their letters and writing (early grades).

Although Carmine Red is also great for adult doll makers – as areother STOCKMAR colors, all of which can be found in our doll making section. When drawn on a scrap piece of fabric which is in turn used to rub onto the cheeks of Waldorf dolls, it makes a very lovely and distinct rouge for a self confident cloth doll – ready for adventures!

Use it to make small details such as holly berries or cold little noses in winter, red lips and rose hips.
